Why Volant, and who's behind it.
The same points can be worth a fortune, or almost nothing.
A credit card point has no fixed value. Used one way, it's a discounted gift card. Used another, it's a private suite over the Pacific. The difference comes down entirely to how and when those points are redeemed, and that difference is enormous.
Your everyday spending is quietly generating a currency with real range. Volant makes sure yours lands at the top of it.
What your spending is capable of.
Your spending, valued
We map every point your cards can generate, and the smartest ways to earn more of them.
Your points, positioned
Built and moved into the right programs, ready for the trips you actually want.
Your trip, realized
You choose the destination. Premium cabins, hard-to-find seats, every detail arranged.
James Carden, Founder.
Eight years of chasing the best seat on the plane, before it was ever a business.
The trip that started it
I found out about points in high school and started actually using them in college. I was broke, and I wanted to get to a music festival in Costa Rica. So I opened a line of credit for the sign-up bonus, turned it into the trip, and that was it. It opened up a version of travel I didn't know existed.
Eight years in
That trip turned into eight years of doing this obsessively. Learning every transfer partner, chasing the best redemptions, planning entire trips around using nothing but points. I've booked countless trips this way since.
Friends and family first
It didn't stay mine for long. I started getting friends and family into seats they never thought they'd sit in. First class to Japan, to Dubai, to Italy. I wasn't doing it for money. I did it for the love of the game.
Why Volant
Volant is that, made real. The same work I've been doing for friends for years, now built into a membership for people who don't have eight years to spend getting this good themselves.
